DAY 8 - November 2, 2012

TREK TO GHANDRUK - 6600ft/2012m (approx. 12k or 7.5 miles)

Walk through the outlying farms following the Modi River Valley. Climb out of the valley and up towards the mountains.  The trail passes through small hamlets, terraced rice fields and forests with spectacular views of the surrounding valley. Trek on 'public' trail with other trekkers and donkeys. Destination, Himalaya Lodge.
