DAY 10 - November 4, 2012

TREK TO BIREHTANTI - 3750ft/1150m (approx. 14k or 8.7 miles)

Buffaloes and goats graze in the surrounding fields and you may have to make way for the donkey and mule trains that convey goods to and from Gurkha settlements. May meet some of the trekkers coming down or heading up to the Sanctuary Lodge.  Continue descending for 2-3 hours to Shauli Bazaar. Follow the River Modi to the Sanctuary Lodge.
