POKHARA - TEMPLE TIGER GREEN RESORT - approx. 5 hour drive

Drive on highway past small villages and terraced rice fields along the Marshyangdi River through the villages of Chitwan with their ochre colored mud houses with thatched roofs. The ethnic tribes of the Tharu's are the local inhabitants of Chitwan and are agriculturists by profession.

Jungle safari on elephant back for viewing and photographing wildlife in the Chitwan National Park. Getting on and off the elephant from a platform.
