TREK TO DHAMPUS - 5000ft/1525m (approx. 12k or 7.5 miles)

Trek to Ker & Downey's Gurung Lodge - 4620ft/1400m. The lodge is built along the lines of a traditional Nepalese village.  Every room has spectacular views of the surrounding valley and mountains.

After lunch at the lodge, trek to Pothana where many Tibetan traders live and sell their souvenirs. After 3.5 hours, arrive at the Basanta Lodge with sweeping views of the Annapurna Range, Mt. Dhaulagirl, Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Fishtail, Mt. Himchuli, Lamjung Himal., etc.
