DAY 14 - November 8, 2012

JUNGLE ACTIVITIES :  A full day of activities starting with another elephant ride and ending with a Nepalese Dance performance by local village males. 

Elephant Ride to Narayani River - Getting on the elephant from an elephant platform, getting off the elephant as graciously as possible.

Crossing Narayani River:  Gharial crocodiles and water birds

Jeep Ride to the original Temple Tiger Jungle Lodge

Bathing the Elephants

Visit to the Elephant Living and Training Quarters

Jungle Walk

Oxen Cart Ride Back to Temple Tiger Jungle Lodge

Nepalese Dance Performance by Local Village Males: Three different types of instruments used for the dances: 1. a long stick 2. two short sticks 3. a rattle made with small cymbal like parts.
